Can my photographs and bird calls be listed on the app?
Yes! Email us at info@ataavi.org with a Drive link to your images and bird calls. If selected, your name will appear in the Contributors section. Ownership of all shared content remains with you.
How do I identify a bird using the image feature?
Click on the Identify button on the home screen, click a bird image or upload one, and the app will suggest matches.
What should I do if the app isn’t showing birds near me?
Ensure your location is turned on. Check app permissions in settings.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes, basic functionality like Identify bird calls, Birds of India, Checklist are available offline. Full syncing resumes when online.
How do I join a college chapter?
Go to the Community section, click on College Chapters, and select Register Your College to fill out the form. The Ataavi team will review your submission, and once approved, your college will be live on the app.
Are bird calls downloadable?
Not currently, but you can stream them anytime via the app.
