Among the standout sightings was the striking Jacobin Cuckoo, whose appearance delighted participants eager to observe this seasonal visitor. The group also enjoyed close views of a family of Spotted Owlets, while the colourful Indian Roller added brilliant flashes of blue to the morning. Numerous other wetland birds, raptors, and songbirds contributed to the impressive checklist, making the outing productive from start to finish.
