Summary of Walk

Thirteen enthusiastic participants joined bird guide Akash Jathar for a refreshing birding adventure along the Krishna Riverside. Exploring the riverine landscape, the group recorded 28 bird species, including wetland birds like
White-breasted Waterhen, Indian Pond Heron, and Eastern Cattle Egret, as well as woodland favorites like the Asian Green Bee-eater, Rose-ringed Parakeet, Greater Coucal, Coppersmith Barbet, White-browed Bulbul, Tickell’s Blue Flycatcher, and Pied Bushchat. Beyond sightings, the walk highlighted the vital links between rivers, birds, and habitat conservation—an inspiring morning of learning and connection with nature.
