Summary of Walk
On a misty monsoon morning, 14 participants—including 12 adults and 2 children—joined a bird walk at Atali Forest, Ambivli, Kalyan, guided by Lalita Ashtekar. The group learned to identify birds by their calls and body features, and recorded 24 species, including the Puff-throated Babbler, Jungle Babbler, Rose-ringed Parakeet, Little Cormorant, Indian Peafowl, and Common Iora.
