Common birds of Ekana Wetlands

Ekana Wetlands, located in Mastemau East of Ekana Stadium in Lucknow have documented an impressive list of more than 200+ birds, including a large population of Lesser Whistling-Ducks and Indian Spot-billed Ducks, alongside the elegant Pheasant-tailed Jacanas and Bronze-winged Jacanas gracefully navigating the aquatic vegetation. Raptors like Osprey, Black Kite and Shikra are observed overhead, while the melodious calls of Asian Koel and Common Hawk-Cuckoo resonate from the trees.
