The campus bird walk at the Kota College of Pharmacy was successfully conducted under the guidance of Bhuvnesh Kumar with enthusiastic participation from 15 students and nature lovers. The walk provided participants with an engaging opportunity to observe and appreciate the avian diversity present within the college campus and its surrounding green spaces. A total of 28 bird species were recorded during the session, reflecting the ecological richness of the area despite its urban setting. Common campus birds such as House Sparrow, Rock Pigeon, Common Myna, Jungle Babbler, and Black Drongo were observed in good numbers, while colorful species including the Indian Roller, Purple Sunbird, and Indian Golden Oriole added excitement to the morning observations.

The walk also produced several notable sightings that captured the attention of participants, including the Asian Barn-Owl, Red-naped Ibis, Eurasian Hoopoe, and both Common and White-throated Kingfishers. Wetland-associated birds like the Red-wattled Lapwing and Grey Francolin highlighted the habitat diversity around the campus. Participants learned basic bird identification techniques, behavior observation, and the importance of conserving urban biodiversity. The event encouraged curiosity and awareness about local birdlife and inspired attendees to continue exploring nature through regular birdwatching activities.
