Summary of Walk
The walk began with a cheerful round of introductions, followed by a peaceful stroll around the lake, tuning into bird calls, spotting 23 bird species, and discussing nature’s wonders and the need for conservation.
Led by bird guide Lalita, the Gandhari Riverside walk began with an engaging ice-breaker about birds and their habitats. Participants spotted around 28 species, including Red-wattled Lapwing, Coppersmith Barbet, and the striking Indian Golden Oriole. The group learned to identify birds by shape, size, behavior, and call—wrapping up the day inspired by nature’s beauty.
